Energy utilization and milk fat responses to rapeseed oil when fed to lactating dairy cows receiving different dietary forage to concentrate ratio

چکیده
We evaluated energy and N utilization, performance, milk fatty acid (FA) profile using grass silage-based diets when rapeseed oil (RO) was included in high- or low-forage diets. Four multiparous Nordic Red cows averaging 101 ± 16 days at the beginning of study were randomly assigned to a 4 × Latin square design with 2 factorial arrangement treatments. Each 21-d period consisted 14-d diet adaptation 7-d collection period. Cows fed following comprised total mixed rations based on silage forage concentrate (FC) ratio 35:65 65:35 containing 0 50 g/kg RO. Significant FC RO interactions observed for yield, protein lactose yields, fat concentration, proportions trans-11 18:1, trans-10 trans-10, cis-12 18:2, saturated FA. Feeding effective increasing yield compared high-forage diet, supplementation increased it further (P ≤ 0.01). A similar pattern yields lactose. Supplementing reduced concentration by 19% relative other without affecting yield. The proportion intake lost as urine decreased 0.05) balances. Nutrient intakes greater 0.01) whereas < protein, starch, fiber intakes. Methane production, expressed intake, this variable declined similarly both 18:1 CLA but not diet. However, trans FA proportions, even though changes more profound In addition, cis monounsaturated Overall, had lower methane emissions partitioning towards secretion influencing According results, did compromise nutrients 150 could be preferentially used improve production quality accompanied reduction loss.

Responses of Milk Urea Nitrogen Content to Dietary Rume Degradable Protein Level in Lactating Holstein Dairy Cows
Nine multiparous lactating cows averaging 171 days in milk were divided according to days in milk and milk production into three 3×3 Latin squares with three 3-week periods to investigate the effect of rumen degradable protein on milk urea nitrogen. Diets were formulated to provide 3 concentrations of dietary rumen degradable protein (9.8, 10.8, and 11.8% of dry matter), while rumen undegradabl...
متن کاملEffects of forage type, forage to concentrate ratio, and crushed linseed supplementation on milk fatty acid profile in lactating dairy cows.
The effects of an increasing proportion of crushed linseed (CL) in combination with varying forage type (grass or corn silage) and forage to concentrate ratio (F:C), and their interactions on milk fatty acid (FA) profile of high-producing dairy cows was studied using a 3-factor Box-Behnken design. Sixteen Holstein and 20 Swedish Red cows were blocked according to breed, parity, and milk yield, ...

Changes of milk fat, crude protein, true protein, NPN and protein:fat ratio in Holstein cows fed a high concentrate diet from early to late lactation
Percentages and yields of fat, crude protein (CP), true protein (TP) and non-protein nitrogen (NPN) wereassessed in milk of four groups of Holstein cows, at early, mid and late lactation (days in milk 20-70, 71-110, 111-150 and 151-210), on a diet rich in concentrates during a hot summer. Four milk samples were taken from individual cows at 10-day intervals. Milk fat percentages were close to b...
